A compatible hydrating serum may be incorporated if needed and tolerated, but additional layering is not essential.

5. Frequently Asked Questions About Nighttime Serum Layering

 

Can I use multiple facial serums at night?

Yes, provided their formulations are compatible and the combination is well tolerated. A targeted serum may be followed by a hydrating serum, but layering additional products does not automatically improve performance.

Should I use retinol every night?

Not necessarily. Frequency depends on retinol concentration, product directions, and individual tolerance. New users should generally begin with one or two nonconsecutive evenings per week and increase gradually as tolerated. 

Can I use niacinamide and retinol together?
